This is to inform all that candidates that participated in the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECA) Examination 2023/2024 that they can now check their results.
You can now access your 2023 ECA Grade 12 Result via SMS or ONLINE. Kindly follow the steps outlined below to access your ECA Grade 12 Result score.
How to Check ECA Grade 12 Result 2023
USING MOBILE MOBILE PHONE:
Students can check for the 2023/2024 grade 12 results using your Mobile Phone through the following procedure;
- 1. Open the message pad on your Mobile Phone
- 2. Type the Full Examination Number (Leave Space)
- 3. Type Examination Year (Leave Space)
- 4. Type Examination Grade and then
- 5. Send to 8383

The SMS Service is available on ZAMTEL, MTN and AIRTEL at a cost of Zambian kwacha 4 for each successful transmission
2023 GRADE 12 EXAMINATION RESULTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON ECZ SMS SYSTEM
Following the official release of the 2023 Grade 12 Examination Results by the Minister of General Education, Dr Dennis N. Wanchinga today, January 2023 in Lusaka, you can now access the results on any Mobile Phone via the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) SMS Service.
The PROCEDURE is as follows:
1. Open the Message Pad on your Mobile Phone;
2. Type the Full Examination Number (Leave Space);
3. Type Examination Year (Leave Space);
4. Type the Examination Grade; and then
5. Send to 8383
FOR EXAMPLE:
1710134768 2023 G12 and send to 8383
The ECZ SMS Service is available on all the existing networks in Zambia-That is- MTN, ZAMTEL and AIRTEL at a cost of K4.
Candidates are, however, advised to collect the Original Results Transcripts from the School/Examination Centre where they wrote from. NO Transcripts shall be collected from the ECZ Secretariat or any Ministry of General Education Offices.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ON 2023 CANDIDATE REGISTRATION:
Please be informed that the deadline for the 2023 Candidate Registration for Grade 7, Grade 9 Internal, Grade 12 Internal, Grade 9 External, General Certificate of Education (GCE) including Teacher Education Examinations has been extended from Friday, January 2023 to Friday, February 2023.
